VIIVIO technology is one of the most advanced lifestyle tracking applications available today. It uses an algorithm that monitors and personalizes valuable information about the user s daily health and wellness, drawing on medical data and years of science and research to provide individualized recommendations on how to best get fitter & healthier.
VIIVIO was evolving as a startup and the team knew it was time to build a user facing website to complement their mobile application which was growing at a rapid pace with thousands of new users daily.
VIIVIO had been operating for a few years when they approached us to help them rethink their digital presence and internal systems. In addition to a modern digital platform, they needed an automated system to source, qualify and activate application users, migrate payment platforms, internal wikis and build a newsletter referral system. They had worked hard to build a captivating brand and needed the right agency to partner with that could not only take their brand to the next level but also rethink and automate their internal systems from the ground up. They understood that it took a creative technology company that had a great level of insight into how startups operate at a fundamental level to help them evolve their brand and build the systems their organization needed to operate efficiently.
VIIVIO came to the table with a lot of content, a vibrant palette, imagery and video that needed to be intuitive for visitors to navigate. Based on their process for developing for their own mobile application, the team was most comfortable seeing wireframes as part of the planning stage. They also wanted a matching MailChimp template so email subscribers would have a fluid experience going from email to web page or email to mobile app depending on the referral source. Our automation engineering and design teams had a few tricks up their sleeves that made the magic happen!

One of our biggest projects to date, VIIVIO’s platform was packed with various integrations and expanded process deliverables.
SIMPLIFYING COMPLEXITY WITH THE RIGHT TOOLS
As you can imagine, a company that had been running successfully for years had a lot of information to share and display as well as internal processes to improve and automate. The functionality of the site needed some serious thought as to how the information should be presented in the simplest and clearest way. Complex internal processes had to be re-imagined to better meet the expectations of our client.

In the first stage, one of our creative leads teamed up with the VIIVIO team to establish a shared vision for the project. Next, we developed the wireframes and design concepts. Each week, Diana our product manager facilitated a meeting and coordinated feedback and approvals.
To organize the content, we categorized the data into specific web pages, then implemented a unique way to display the huge amount of complex information in a simple way, allowing readers to navigate through the website smoothly.
Once the artwork was solidified, it was translated to the Squarespace interface and Alex, one of our developers, got to work on hyper-customized functionality. This resulted in the building of a robust cloud management system hosted on Amazon Web Servers, which housed graphics, analytics feedback and user data. Our team ran quality assurance and browser testing, before launching the domain. The result was a modern and well-organized website that cleanly displays everything a potential user needs to know about Viivio’s platform prior to signing up for their services.
Next, Viivo wanted us to develop a customized process-oriented framework to capture and derive insights from customer touch points.
AUTOMATION AND INTEGRATION PROCESS
We recommended a scalable process that enables efficient and reliable analysis of all user interactions with Viivio’s website and application. The goal was to streamline feedback collection to inform business model iteration decisions.The process requires advanced familiarity with Airtable, Paperform, and Zapier. These applications were used to create a set of beautiful customer-facing forms and a populating Customer Relationship Management system.
Ultimately, we wanted their team to focus on improving the product and business, not stuck in spreadsheets handling or transferring customer data.
This part of the project was broken down into four phases
Design an Airtable CRM that tracks user interactions with Viivio’s website & mobile app
Configure automated data entry and lead enrichment with Zapier’s automation engine in CRM
Create analytics-driven forms to record offline customer interactions
Configured a parabola flow that syncs MongoDB data with Airtable making customer data accessible for everyone on the team independent of technical skills.
Outline custom specifications and preferences for CRM configuration
Build automation workflows and connect available customer data sources
Get feedback on a functional prototype and iterate towards completion
Create training tutorial document and train team to replicate process
Viivio came to us looking for a way to break into the World Wide Web with a brand new personality and we provided the sledge hammer. Leveraging the existing Viivio mobile platform, we built a modern and professional website. By analyzing the company and understanding their internal systems, we re-imagined it from the ground-up, allowing them to operate more efficiently and automating several internal tasks so they can focus on their business and product.
Our design, development and automation teams worked closely with Viivio’s team to translate their vision into an extraordinary digital experience for their users and internal team, while careful product management kept the massive project moving at lightning speed. We completed one of our largest projects in under three months.
The process gave the client an opportunity to visualize our ideas and feel completely comfortable with the direction of the project before the development phase began.
